We were ecstatic to be contracted to have our kittens used for a
Disney shoot for “The Aristocats”! I don’t know how these will be used but most likely for packaging the
DVD or something like that though there was a rumor of a re-make!All four of Mama JeTaime’s kittens were used and she
got to go along as well as the studio agreed the kittens would be more at ease with Mama cat there— and they insured
her as well for the trip! Though we think she is priceless of course!
Here are some of the pics of the Disney shoot in Beverly Hills!
All four were photographed individually as the “Aristocats”! Isn’t that fun?! They were AMAZED at how calm
and poised the kittens were since they weren’t “trained” like all the other animals that came for the other
Disney movies like Lady & the Tramp and 101 Dalmations… I guess it’s something the Dearhearts come by naturally!
[Yes, I am BRAGGING!] In fact, the only snafu was with the satin ribbons all had to wear—next time we will need a “costume
mistress”—you should have seen a half dozen people trying to keep bows positioned ‘just so’ ‘here
and there’! It was hilarious and at the same time a bit frustrating for all of us that are “remedial bow”
makers. There was double sided sticky tape everywhere!Also, GAP will use one of the kittens for a print ad this coming
week!
We also understand there may be one more job for these little
guys! And then off they go to their new homes!
Macy is THE REAL 101 Dalmation for Disney!
She is a young 14 years old and THE BEST ACTOR!
This is “Mazy” the ACTUAL dog for 101 and 102 Dalmations!
Tramp and Lady were there as well as two Siamese! Mazy is 14 years young! And she was so well trained it was phenomenal! She
could make nearly any emotion when asked. There were many different trainers here in the studio all day and it was amazing
to see them work their animals.

They are STARS! At least for all of us! This is Blanca “resting”
between breaks—she has to have her ‘beauty nap’ of course! She played “Marie” the girl kitten—remember
in the movie this dialogue:

first! Me first! Toulouse: Why should you be first? Marie: Because I'm a lady. That's
why. Toulouse: Oh, you're not a
lady. Berlioz: You're nothing but a sister!
